Mission Cloud — AWS & Cloud Infrastructure

Michael Wiseley

A decade of cloud engineering, infrastructure design, and technical leadership. I believe the hardest problems are the most worth solving.

I've spent my career gravitating toward the hardest problems in cloud infrastructure; the migrations that scare teams, the architectures that don't have playbooks yet, the organizations that need to build the muscle from scratch.

"The obstacle in the path becomes the path."

Currently a Principal Engineer at CDW Digital Velocity, I work with client and internal teams on design and engineering in AWS, serving as a thought leader aligned with OCTO and management to drive best practice and upskilling.

Previously, I led a team of 12 engineers as Director of Cloud Engineering at Foghorn Consulting, and helped the PGA Tour migrate from on-prem infrastructure to AWS; refactoring business processes into serverless functions and microservices along the way.
